Terms of Service

Welcome to Ruhali. Please read these Terms carefully before you register, log in, upload photos, request a generation, make a recharge or use any related service — in particular the clauses on account management, photo and likeness authorization, AI-generated content, payment rules, limitation of liability and dispute resolution.

1. Scope and applicability

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are entered into between you and the actual operating entity of the Ruhali service together with its affiliated service providers (collectively, “we”, “us” or “our”) in respect of your access to, registration with, login to and use of the Ruhali mini program, website and related features. Information about the operating entity is as published on the product pages in accordance with applicable law.

By clicking to agree, completing registration or login, uploading content, placing and paying for an order, actually using or continuing to use the service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and to the page rules, order rules, Privacy Policy and Recharge Agreement relating to the service. Those documents together constitute the agreement between you and us.

2. The service and changes to it

Ruhali provides photo upload, art style selection, AI image generation, artwork storage, display and download, order and credit management, and features related to those services. The specific features, conditions of use, number of generations available, artwork specifications, prices, scope and restrictions are governed by the pages, feature notices, order records and system records shown when you use or purchase the service.

In order to iterate the product, or on account of technical capability, model services, content safety, legal requirements or business arrangements, we may adjust feature entry points, the generation flow, the style library, charging methods, credit consumption and benefit rules. Adjusted rules generally apply to new uses or new orders occurring after the adjustment, unless applicable law provides otherwise or we have made a separate express commitment.

3. Account registration and management

You must have the legal capacity required to use the service, and you warrant that the registration, login and payment information you provide is true, accurate, lawful and valid. Users under the age of 18 must use the service with the consent and guidance of a guardian; without that consent they may not make recharges, purchase virtual benefits, or upload content that may affect the material rights of others.

Ownership of accounts rests with us. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the relevant rules, you have a right to use your account, and you may not rent, lend, sell, transfer, give away or share the account, or otherwise allow others to use your account or its benefits.

You must keep your account, verification codes, login devices and payment credentials secure. Absent substantial evidence to the contrary, any upload, generation, storage, deletion, payment, authorization or other action carried out through your account is deemed to be your own. You bear any loss caused by poor account security, voluntary sharing, loss of a device or use of your account by others.

4. User content, likeness and authorization

Photos, images, likenesses, prompts, text, artworks and other content that you upload, enter, select, generate, store, display or share are collectively referred to as “User Content”. You must ensure that you hold lawful rights in the User Content, or that you have obtained sufficient and valid authorization from rights holders, the persons depicted, the subjects of the likeness, guardians and any other necessary parties.

You may not upload, process, generate, disseminate or use content that infringes the copyright, likeness rights, privacy, reputation, personal information rights, trademark rights, trade secrets or other lawful rights of others, and you may not use another person’s photo for impersonation, defamation, harassment, fraud, malicious marketing or any other improper purpose.

In order to provide you with the necessary services of upload, recognition, generation, storage, display, download, after-sales support, risk control, troubleshooting and backup recovery, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, to the extent necessary for those purposes, to store, reproduce, transmit, process and convert the format of User Content and to generate service results. Except where necessary to provide a service you have actively requested, where you have given your authorization, or where applicable law requires otherwise, we will not make your non-public photos or non-public artworks available to unrelated third parties.

5. Acceptable use and content moderation

You may not use the service to create, upload, generate, disseminate or assist in disseminating content that is unlawful, endangers national security, discloses state secrets, harms the rights and interests of minors, is obscene or pornographic, contains violence or terrorism, promotes hatred or discrimination, is false or harmful, involves fraud or gambling, or otherwise offends public order and good morals; nor may you intrude upon, attack, interfere with, scrape or reverse engineer the service, circumvent its billing or risk control mechanisms, or affect the stability of the service or the rights of other users by means of scripts, plug-ins, bulk calls or similar methods.

In order to comply with legal obligations, maintain order on the platform and protect system security, we are entitled, in accordance with law and these Terms, to take measures against content and accounts suspected of being unlawful, infringing, abnormally used or presenting material risk, including warnings, refusing to generate, restricting display, deletion, blocking, restricting features, suspending the service, terminating the service, retaining records or reporting to the competent authorities.

6. AI generation and generated content

The service includes image processing and generation capabilities based on artificial intelligence. Generated results are affected by the source image, the prompt, model capabilities, system policies, content safety rules, the network environment and third-party infrastructure, and may be unexpected, partially distorted, stylistically off, repetitive, incomplete or may fail to generate.

Generated results are provided for you to select, edit and use at your discretion, and do not constitute any commitment by us as to the quality, aesthetic effect, merchantability, stability of rights, commercial usability or fitness for a particular purpose of the artworks. You are responsible for the storage, public display, dissemination, publication, sale, registration, commercial use and other subsequent handling of generated content, and you must comply with applicable law and platform rules on the labelling, review and disclosure of AI-generated or deep-synthesis content.

We do not, merely by providing a generation tool, become the author, co-author, rights holder, agent or guarantor of your uploaded content or of the generated results.

7. Intellectual property

The intellectual property rights in the software, programs, interface, marks, trademarks, designs, style names, documentation, technical solutions, database structures and other related content of the Ruhali service belong to us or the relevant rights holders, unless they belong to a third party under law or are otherwise agreed. Without permission, you may not reproduce, sell, rent, license, adapt or disseminate them, or use them to develop products or services that substantially replace the service.

You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your User Content. Apart from the necessary licence expressly granted in these Terms, we do not claim ownership of your original photos or original content by reason of your use of the service.

8. Paid services, credits and refunds

Some services consume credits, generation counts, allowances or other virtual benefits. Product names, prices, bonus rules, validity periods, order of use, consumption rates, applicable platforms and restrictions are governed by the purchase page, the payment page, order records, credit statements and the Recharge Agreement.

Recharges are non-refundable once payment has succeeded and the virtual benefits have been credited to your account. They will be handled under the Recharge Agreement only where applicable law mandates otherwise, or in cases of duplicate charges, benefits not credited and unable to be reissued, or the platform not having actually delivered the service. The rules on refunds, reversals, conversion into cash, transfer, restoration and the handling of anomalies for virtual benefits already issued or consumed are set out in the Recharge Agreement.

9. Service interruptions, disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service stable, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or absolutely secure, or that every generation request will succeed or fully meet your expectations.

Where service fluctuations, delays, interruptions, differences in results or losses are caused by network or device failures, third-party login or payment anomalies, fluctuations in cloud or model services, system maintenance, hacking, viruses, force majeure, regulatory requirements, improper operation by users or other causes beyond our sole control, we will assist within a reasonable scope but will not assume liability beyond the extent provided by law.

If your User Content or your conduct causes us or a third party to suffer complaints, claims, penalties or losses, you must bear the corresponding liability and hold us harmless. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is capped at the amount you actually paid for the order giving rise to the dispute, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10. Changes to these Terms, complaints and dispute resolution

We may revise these Terms in light of applicable law, regulatory requirements, product changes or business needs, and will notify you by publishing them on the site, through in-product notices or by other reasonable means. If you continue to use the service after a revision takes effect, you are deemed to have accepted the revised Terms.

If you become aware of unlawful or infringing content, account anomalies, payment anomalies or other issues concerning your rights, you may contact us through the feedback entry in the product or through the customer service channel we publish in accordance with law. When submitting a complaint or an infringement notice, you must provide your identity information, proof of rights, the location of the relevant content, a statement of the facts and your contact details so that we can handle the matter in accordance with law.

The formation, effectiveness, performance and interpretation of these Terms, and the resolution of disputes under them, are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from the service shall first be resolved through negotiation; failing that, either party may bring an action before the competent people’s court at the place where the operating entity of Ruhali is domiciled.
